Reverse Transcriptionase
MMLV (Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus，莫洛尼(氏)鼠白血病病毒)Reverse Transcriptionase 是一种RNA和DNA依赖的DNA聚合酶，需要寡脱氧核糖核苷酸作为引物以启动延伸反应。可用于构建cDNA文库时第一条cDNA链的合成，也可用于RT-PCR时cDNA模板的合成。
MMLV Reverse
Transcriptionase（MMLV RT）缺乏3'→5'核酸外切酶活性（校读活性），同时具有较弱的RNase
H活性。

1. As little as 5 units of EPICENTRE's MMLV RT synthesizes
full-length double-stranded cDNA. One microgram of a 4.7-kb mRNA was
transcribed using the indicated amount of MMLV RT for 1 hour at 37°C.
Aliquots of each reaction mixture were analyzed on a 1% agarose
gel stained with ethidium bromide. Lane 1, kb ladder; Lanes 2 and
3 , no enzyme at 0 time and 1 hour, respectively; Lanes 4-6, 5U,
10 U, or 20 U, respectively, at 1 hour. Five units of MMLV RT
yielded full-length double-stranded cDNA with this template.

2.通过引物延伸分析建立5'端转录图谱（5'-end
transcript mapping via primer extension analysis）；
3.通过末端添加反应进行双链DNA的3'末端标记（3'-end labeling of
duplex DNA via end-filling reactions）；
4.RT-PCR反应中模板的合成。
优点：
只需5个单位的酶就可以进行全长cDNA链的合成，性价比极高（见图一）。
